Trump savages DeSantis with fake audio of Hitler, Soros, and himself crashing big announcement

Former President Trump posted a bizarre fake audio call Wednesday between Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), billionaire George Soros, Adolf Hitler, World Economic Forum Chairman Klaus Schwab, former Vice President Dick Cheney, and the Devil mocking DeSantis as he enters the 2024 presidential race.

Trump posted the fan-made parody audio to Truth Social after DeSantis and Twitter mogul Elon Musk suffered severe technical difficulties on the social media platform when over 400,000 people tried to tune in all at once to the announcement, causing it to crash, according to the Washington Examiner. It went viral on Twitter.

The spoof has all the fake participants talking and coughing over one another with DeSantis shouting profanities, which is something he is not known to do. As the call is about to end Trump comes on board, telling Musk, “Hold your horses, Elon. The real president is going to say a few words.”

“The Devil, I’m going to kick your ass very soon,” Trump vows. “Hitler, you’re already dead. Dick Cheney sounds like he’ll be joining Hitler very soon. Klaus Schwab and George Soros, I’m putting both your asses in jail.”

“And Ron DeSanctimonious can kiss my big, beautiful 2024 presidential ass. Trump 2024, baby! Let’s go,” the former president concluded in the clip.

The audio apparently used AI-generated voices, voice actors, and in the case of Hitler, audio clips from the 2004 German film “Downfall,” according to Forbes.

The fake clip also features the FBI in the call to help “take out” Trump and the agency leaves the Twitter Space after realizing its public.

Following the glitch on Twitter, Trump, President Biden, leftist media outlets, and Fox News all mocked the announcement, deliberately overlooking the fact that there were so many Americans wanting to tune in on the platform that it crashed. The hashtag #DeSaster trended on Twitter afterward. But the event was not down for long.

The fake audio was not the only attack by Trump against DeSantis on Wednesday after his announcement. Another one sparked confusion and was equally bizarre.

“‘Rob,’ My Red Button is bigger, better, stronger, and is working (TRUTH!), yours does not! (per my conversation with Kim Jung Un, of North Korea, soon to become my friend!),” Trump said in the post.

Matthew Brodsky, a political strategist and senior fellow at the Gold Institute for International Strategy, tweeted, “Bonkers.”

“DeSantis has been talking about detailed and substantive policy issues for the last hour,” conservative writer A.G. Hamilton noted. “This is what you get from Trump. If people want idiocracy and entertainment, Trump might be the better option. If you want substance on the right, DeSantis is it.”

“Nobody thinks this is sane; they’re just afraid to admit it,” David Reaboi, a political commentator and fellow at Claremont Institute, asserted.

Another conservative was even blunter about the whole attack, tweeting, “It’s safe to say Ron DeSantis has broken Donald Trump beyond repair. If my father were still living and posting deranged posts such as this on social media I’d be looking to baker act him. #DeSantisDerangementSyndrome.”

Trump also shared on Truth Social another clip that showed a SpaceX rocket falling on its side with the banner Ron 2024.

The former president was on a roll and posted another video mocking DeSantis’ glitchy launch on Twitter.

And there was more:

“Ron DeSantis’ botched campaign announcement is another example of why he is just not ready for the job,” Trump’s Make America Great Again Inc. spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said in a press release titled “Failure to Launch” on Wednesday. “The stakes are too high, and the fight to save America is too critical to gamble on a first-timer who is clearly not ready for prime time. President Trump is the proven leader that will be ready on day one to turn the country around.”
