‘A complete failure: CEO blasts Biden for inflicting ‘acute inflation pain’ on ‘ordinary Americans’

Following the release of the latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics showing that core inflation has surged to a new 40-year high, Job Creators Network CEO Alfredo Ortiz blasted “tone-deaf” President Joe Biden for fundraising with his “Hollywood pals” while inflicting “acute inflation pain” on the American people.

“Inflation increased 8.2% year-over-year in September. Core inflation rose 6.6% year-over-year, a new 40-year high,” tweeted JCN. “This CPI number, high as it is, might seem bad, but there’s even worse news when you dig into the data…”

In the attached statement, Ortiz said, “President Biden’s policies have led to the fastest core inflation in 40 years, significantly reducing Americans’ purchasing power and living standards. Rather than meet the urgency of this ongoing inflation crisis that is by far the biggest problem the country faces, Biden is at a fundraiser in Los Angeles today with his Hollywood pals to celebrate his inflationary actions.”

“Tone-deaf doesn’t even begin to describe this president,” he continued. “He obviously can’t hear or chooses to ignore the acute inflation pain he’s inflicted on small businesses and ordinary Americans.”

While in Southern California, Biden delivered a speech in Irvine during which he touted his disastrous Inflation Reduction Act and warned that, if Republicans regain control of Congress in November, the price of everything will go up.

“And here — here’s the bottom line, so please hear this: When it actually comes time to do something about inflation around the kitchen table, Republicans in Congress are saying, No,'” he claimed. “If Republicans take control, the prices are going to go up, as will inflation. It’s this simple.”

Meanwhile, the White House was trying to downplay the new CPI report.

In a written statement, Biden insisted that America is in a strong position to handle the soaring costs.

“Americans are squeezed by the cost of living: that’s been true for years, and they didn’t need today’s report to tell them that,” the president said. “It’s a key reason I ran for President.  Working to give middle class families some breathing room in dealing with their costs is critical.”

“Today’s report shows some progress in the fight against higher prices, even as we have more work to do. Inflation over the last three months has averaged 2%, at an annualized rate. That’s down from 11% in the prior quarter,” the statement continued. “But even with this progress, prices are still too high. Fighting the global inflation that is affecting countries around the world and working families here at home is my top priority.”

“Because of my economic plan,” he claimed, “the United States is in a stronger position than any major economy to take on this challenge.”

According to Ortiz, nothing could be farther from the truth.

“This CPI number, high as it is, might seem bad, but there’s even worse news when you dig into the data,” he wrote. “The number we see for September benefits from a decrease in the energy index. This won’t last for long, though. As winter approaches and fuel demand increases, Americans can add heat to the list of basic necessities that have become gut-wrenching financial decisions under Biden’s administration, alongside food and shelter.”

“Biden is cementing himself as a complete failure, worse than even Jimmy Carter,” the CEO continued. “Biden was handed an economy in recovery, all he had to do was get out of the way. Instead, he’s spent massive amounts of money trying to build a pitiful legacy and created an inflation crisis along the way. The recession is his true legacy.”

Like many who are concerned about the future of this country, Ortiz stressed the importance of the economy as the U.S. steams toward the midterm elections.

“If there’s anything Americans will be thinking of come midterms, it will be the economy,” he wrote. “This week JCN set out on our Great Opportunity Project bus tour to champion the needs of small businesses and build support for our ‘American Small Business Prosperity Plan,’ a roadmap for the next Congress to fix the broken economy.”

“Biden took a recovery in progress and squandered it with big government spending for programs that don’t even work. Now he’s trying to pretend he’s a president of recovery, but that couldn’t be further from the truth,” Ortiz stated. “If there’s one thing that Americans can remember about Biden, it’s his knack for compounding incompetence.”
