Dr. Drew cites ‘breathtaking’ vax study: I don’t know why this isn’t front page news

A new study has found that 50 percent of young men who contracted myocarditis after receiving the COVID vaccine suffered permanent heart damage, according to Dr. Drew Pinsky.

Appearing on commentator Megyn Kelly’s podcast about a week ago, he described the study and said that learning about it had taken his breath away.

“A publication just came out five days ago in Circulation, a major cardiac cardiology journal. An excellent study. And it showed, it took my breath away – I didn’t know why it wasn’t headline news.  It’s a large study, and it showed that about approximately half of the young males that got myocarditis had permanent heart damage. Permanent,” he said.

“That means that we don’t know what percentage are going to be disabled by this as they get older or develop heart failure, or are gonna need cardiac transplants, some of them. It’s breathtaking, this study. And why it wasn’t a big headline … I don’t understand why people aren’t reacting to it,” he added.

Pinsky went on to speculate that the study is being buried because the parties that had promoted the vaccine are afraid they could be held liable.

“I think, put your legal head on for a second, that universities are gonna be in big trouble for having mandated young people to get that vaccine because people are gonna get sick, they’re gonna have long-term consequences, and they should sue those schools for having forced them to take a medical intervention. One hundred percent they should sue,” he said.

Kelly responded to his remarks by urging anyone who’s being pressured to get vaccinated to instead buy themselves a fake vaccination card.

“If anybody tries to force you from this point forward [to get jabbed], get a fake card. It’s not that hard. Go ahead, Google it, get a fake card. Don’t comply,” she said.

“And again, we have a good treatment. We have Paxlovid. So why [get vaccinated]?” Pinsky said, seemingly concurring with her idea.

“I’m just saying, [if] you have to say you’ve gotten a shot to get in, get a fake one. Just Google it on the internet. It’s bullsh-t. If they’re gonna create these bullsh-t rules, you can create your bullsh-t way around them,” Kelly continued.

“It’s all just like a theatre. So let’s, okay, let’s act. I’ll act like I’ve gotten my 50th booster, and you can act like you’re satisfied I’m telling you the truth,” she concluded.

But critics pushed back on the idea by arguing that those with principles should just hold their ground and refuse both getting the vaccine or pretending to have gotten it.

Thankfully, COVID-19 vaccine mandates are mostly gone thanks to the pandemic pretty much being over except for minor outbreaks here and there.

That said, deaths tangentially or directly linked to the vaccine still continue, with the most recent headline-grabbing one occurring in June, when a professional Dominican basketball player who’d blamed his bout of myocarditis on the COVID vaccine died of a heart attack.

Óscar Cabrera Adames, 28, died while possibly undergoing a stress test, Fox News reported at the time, citing a social media post from Dominican sports commentator Héctor Gómez, though it was unclear whether the test had anything to do with his passing.

Following word of his death, sleuths uncovered social media posts from him in which he’d blamed his myocarditis on the COVID vaccine.

“I got a damn Myocarditis from taking a f—ing vaccine. (I got 2 doses of Pfizer) And I knew it! Many people warned me,” Adames wrote in one tweet, according to Fox News.

“But guess what? It was compulsory or I couldn’t work. I am an international professional athlete and I am playing in Spain. I have no health problem, nothing, not hereditary, no asthma, NOTHING! I suddenly collapsed to the ground in the middle of a match and almost died. I’m still recovering and I’ve had 11 different cardiology tests done and guess? They find nothing,” Adames reportedly added in additional tweets.

The collapse he mentioned in the tweets reportedly occurred during a 2021 Spanish Amateur Basketball League game.

“He fainted during the game and was later transported to a hospital on a stretcher,” Fox News noted.
