Another day, another collection of moments that leave Americans – and the world – wondering about President Joe Biden’s ability to lead the nation.
The 79-year-old president continues to deny that he and his administration are currently to blame for the myriad crises facing the U.S. and he spent time Wednesday railing against everyone from his predecessor to Russia’s Vladimir Putin for America’s woes.
Even before his eyebrow-raising speech in Illinois, Biden had a momentary slip as he ascended the steps to Air Force One, reviving memories of his falling three times up those stairs last year. The president “quickly gripped the railing to steady himself and avoid any serious fall,” according to Daily Mail.

But once at his destination, Biden’s strange speech at an Illinois fundraiser sparked immediate reactions after he began screaming about food shortages and other ills facing the nation under his watch.

“Remember those long lines you’d see on the television and people lining up in all kinds of vehicles just to get a box of food in their trunk? How quickly we forget people were hurting,” Biden said.
“And what did the MAGA crowd want to do? Forget it. Forget it,” he continued angrily. “God, this is the United States of America. The idea that people would have to wait in line an hour or hour and a half to get a box of food in their trunk — it’s just unbelievable.”
His meltdown once again raised questions.
He’s made a complete hash of the country in a little over a year and can’t understand why.

Biden continues to hand former President Donald Trump and his supporters plenty of free advertising. He railed against his predecessor as if the effects of his own disastrous policies were brought on by the 45th president – whom he incredibly labeled “the great MAGA king.”

“Under my predecessor — the great MAGA king — the deficit increased every single year he was president. The first year of my presidency, the first year, I reduced the deficit, literally reduced the deficit by $350 billion, first year,” he told the audience at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers conference in Chicago.
Twitter users were highly entertained that Biden’s attempt to disparage Trump was not the “own” he thought it was.

Has anyone read Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams? There is a point here I will get to. Recently began re-reading it and easrly in the book it introduces Zaphod Beeblebrox, the President of the Galaxy He was a very unlikely person t with his background but was very good at his job. The issue was how much power does the President of the Galaxy have? None, his job is to distract attention from those who actually run the Galaxy the ones wielding the power.
Somehow that reminded me of Joe Biden.
