Man savagely beats 60-year-old woman fifty times with her own cane in NYC subway – nobody stops him

A vicious thug in the New York City subway system took a 60-year-old woman’s cane and mercilessly beat her fifty times with it as people simply watched him do it.

The heinous attack took place at approximately 3 a.m. on Friday morning. The unidentified man beat the poor woman for two minutes straight at West 116 Street and Lenox Avenue station in Harlem.

His brutal assault started with trying to smack the woman with an umbrella as she attempted to stop him with her cane. That just set him off even more.

The unhinged attacker grabbed her cane as the woman fell to the ground screaming and then he began brutally beating her with it.

**WARNING: Graphic Video**

This is yet another viral video of violence taking place on the Big Apple’s subway system. Many feel taking that transport is taking your life into your own hands these days with everything from being robbed, raped, attacked, or murdered seeming commonplace on the New York City subway system.

The disturbed man continued to punch and scream at the defenseless woman as his pants began to fall off.

He hammered the woman on her head, stomach, legs, arms, hands, and on her back as she desperately tried to fight him off. He didn’t stop until he broke the cane while beating her.

The woman grabbed a piece of the cane before the man could get a hold of it after he broke it. He then started pummeling her in the head with his fists. As the video ended, the woman was seen lying motionless on the ground while the man continued to kick her.

No police or transit staff were anywhere around. People videoed the attack and one person called 911 but no one stepped in to stop the assault. She could have easily been killed.

Officers arrived at about 3:30 a.m. The suspect fled the scene before they got there, according to the Daily Mail.

The victim stated that she did not know who the man was according to the New York Post. The unnamed woman was transported to a local hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.

No one has been arrested for the assault and an investigation is being conducted into it.

Despite statistics claiming that subway crime is slightly down, even leftist Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg claimed in August he was afraid for his family when they took the subway.

“I know the statistics that transit crime is down, but when one of my family members gets on the train, I, too, get a knot in my stomach,” he told FOX 5 News in an interview. “I live here, I’m raising my family here, so we have a lot more work to do.”

Major crime dropped 9.9% in the subway system in July the city’s statistics claim, according to the Daily Mail.

People were enraged and horrified by the video:
