Megyn Kelly destroys ‘moron’ AOC: ‘She’s sort of a… Kardashian in Congress’

Independent journalist and podcast host Megyn Kelly was on vacation last week when the Supreme Court dropped the hammer on Roe v. Wade, but she returned this week in time to get in on the fallout.

A former attorney, Kelly said the high court “nailed it” in reversing Roe and sending the issue of abortion back to the states during an appearance on Newsmax TV, telling “The Balance” host Eric Bolling that she read every single line of the court’s opinion, the concurrences and the dissent.

“This isn’t an extremist court as people like AOC and Nancy Pelosi are claiming,” she said, referring to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the House speaker. “This was the answer to the activism and extremism that had been forced on the American people in 1973 and then again in 1992, in Roe then Casey. This was a remedy of previous activism that had been engaged in by nine people wearing robes who we didn’t elect to do anything, and the more conservative jurists on that court understand that.”

Kelly explained that both Roe and Casey — in 1992, Planned Parenthood v. Casey reaffirmed a woman’s right to an abortion —  “invented constitutional rights that didn’t exist,” and after talking about Chief Justice John Roberts’ minimal role in the ruling, Kelly was asked to comment on Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., calling for the impeachment of Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch for allegedly misleading statements about their views on Roe, and Sen Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass, claiming the Supreme Court has lost all legitimacy.

“Well I’ll distinguish between the two because I think AOC is a moron,” Kelly said. “I think Elizabeth Warren is smart — she’s ideological and not necessarily aligned with you or with myself. But I think AOC is not that smart, and she really just wants to be a star. She’s sort of a… Kardashian in Congress. I guarantee you she hasn’t read the decision, and I guarantee you she has no understanding of what substantive due process is, or the history of any of what she’s talking about.”

Bam!

“So, I hesitate to ever even discuss her to be honest with you. But I will say this, her ridiculous push to impeach the justices for not being totally honest about their respect for precedent during the judicial confirmation process will go nowhere,” Kelly added.

She went on to insist that the Supreme Court justices who voted to overturn Roe “haven’t done anything wrong,” before giving another Democratic ideologue a lesson in federalism.

“They have interpreted the Constitution according to their judicial philosophy,” Kelly said. “People like [U.S. Rep.] Maxine Waters are out there saying we’re not going to follow it. You know what? You know what I have to say to her? Yes, you are. You are going to have to follow it. Sorry, but your state is no longer going to perform abortions if you’re in a redder state, alright? She’s not, but women who are are not going to be able to find abortions because the clinics are going to close down because doctors don’t want to go to prison. It’s called federalism, and if they would just continue reading the Constitution, some of these things might become clear to them without you and/or yours truly having to explain it.”

As for Ocasio-Cortez, the former part-time bartender hasn’t responded to Kelly online as of this writing. Then again, she’s probably busy coaching Americans on how to break the law and still kill their unborn babies if they are in areas where abortions may be banned.
