Missing Biden family corruption witness says he’s living in fear as fugitive in undisclosed location

An American-Israeli energy expert who was reported missing in Cyprus last month after he claimed to be in possession of incriminating intel about President Joe Biden’s son Hunter is now reportedly living as a fugitive in an undisclosed location.

Speaking exclusively with the New York Post, Gal Luft said he skipped bail last month after being hit with a slew of charges by the U.S. courts and threatened with extradition back to the United States in what he claims is a politically motivated prosecution.

“He denies the allegations, which include five charges relating to the Arms Export Control Act of conspiring to sell Chinese products to the United Arab Emirates, Kenya and Libya, as well as a violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, and of making a false statement,” according to the Post.

He was arrested in February, two months before he skipped bail.

“The chances of me getting a fair trial in Washington are virtually zero. I had to do what I had to do,” he told the Post in a call from an undisclosed foreign country.

“I was charged for a thought crime. I was asked by a bona fide arms dealer, an Israeli friend, to inquire with a company I knew if they had an item and what would be the price of an item. This is where the conspiracy ended. No follow-up, no money, no brokering activity,” he added.

So why is he being prosecuted if he did nothing wrong?

He pointed to the day the extradition order was signed: Nov. 1st, 2022, which preceded the 2022 midterm elections by a matter of days. Luft said that as the Biden administration realized that they’d lose the House, they started to panic because of the Hunter Biden investigations that they knew were on the way.

“When it was clear the Republicans are going to win the House or the Senate, all of a sudden comes [GOP Rep. James] Comer and [GOP Rep. Jim] Jordan and the game is changing. There will be questions and subpoenas and investigations [so] they [the administration] have to discredit me,” he explained.

The Post notes that Luft previously met with the FBI at the U.S. Embassy in Brussels back in 2019 “to provide information that Chinese state-controlled energy company CEFC had paid $100,000 a month to Hunter Biden and $65,000 to his uncle Jim, in exchange for their FBI connections and use of the Biden name to promote China’s Belt and Road Initiative around the world.”

“Luft, who had a business relationship with a nonprofit think tank associated with CEFC, also told the FBI that Hunter had an FBI mole named “One Eye” who had tipped off his CEFC business partners Patrick Ho and Ye Jianming that they were under investigation; he said that CEFC officials and one other person had been named in a sealed indictment,” according to the Post.

Yet Luft never heard back from the FBI after revealing this intel.

News of Luft’s reemergence comes amid news of Tara Reade’s reemergence as well.

If you recall, during the 2020 presidential election, Reade accused then-Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden of having sexually assaulted her decades earlier.

Years later, she’s turned back up in Russia, where she now says she’s hiding out from the Biden administration and has requested citizenship.

“Tara Reade, who drew headlines during the 2020 presidential race by accusing then-candidate Biden of sexually harassing and assaulting her, said she decided to go to Russia after receiving threats in the US,” according to CNN.

“After being out of the headlines for years, Reade turned up in Moscow on Tuesday, where she sat alongside convicted Kremlin spy Maria Butina and answered questions from Russian state media over several hours.”

Watch:

“When I got off the plane in Moscow, for the first time in a very long time I felt safe, and I felt heard, and I felt respected. That has not happened in my own country,” Reade said during the press conference.

She also defended Russia, saying that “this illusion of Russia as an enemy is propagated by a few Washington elites who are determined to cause problems.”

Russia has, in fact, been a U.S. enemy for a very long time.
