Raging romantic ‘chemistry’ between AOC and Musk highlighted in hilarious parody video

A parody video has gone viral on Twitter showing billionaire Elon Musk and Democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) settling their differences by making googly eyes at one another, displaying raging “crazy chemistry” between the two opposing forces.

The clip was posted to Twitter on Tuesday. It splices together two separate interviews of Ocasio-Cortez and Musk, making it appear as though they are staring adoringly at one another. Ocasio-Cortez’s footage was taken from a “60 Minutes” interview she conducted with Anderson Cooper in 2019, while the Musk clip was edited from a December 2018 interview with “60 Minutes” correspondent Leslie Stahl, according to the New York Post.

It was created by digital artist @mazemoore and has more than 6.7 million views. Musk loved it.

Ocasio-Cortez and Musk have an ongoing combative banter that takes place on Twitter. It’s not exactly friendly and Musk ruthlessly ridicules the young socialist. Her most recent meltdown resulted after Musk reinstated former President Trump to Twitter.

The video begins with Ocasio-Cortez telling Musk, “I’m sorry.”

“Nobody’s perfect,” the Twitter mogul responded.

“I’m breaking all the rules. I’m breaking all the rules,” the Squad member laughed.

“I guess, we might make some mistakes. Who knows?” Musk told her.

The two continue to just stare at one other suggestively, gazing into each other’s eyes.

“I think one of the biggest problems we have in DC is that everyone’s egos are too big,” Ocasio-Cortez cringingly giggled.

“I actually prefer to have no titles at all,” Musk stated.

“You’re opening yourself up,” she tells the Tesla CEO.

“I’m just being me,” Musk responds as Ocasio-Cortez stares at him with an evident form of hero worship.

This isn’t the first creation by @mazemoore. The digital artist also brought together former President Trump and President Biden in September interviewing each other on “60 Minutes.”

That video racked up over 2.7 million views.

Musk has previously told Ocasio-Cortez to “stop hitting on me” in response to a tweet where she vented about his “massive communication platform.”

“Tired of having to collectively stress about what explosion of hate crimes is happening bc some billionaire with an ego problem unilaterally controls a massive communication platform and skews it because Tucker Carlson or Peter Thiel took him to dinner and made him feel special,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.

Ocasio-Cortez responded to Musk by saying, “I was talking about Zuckerberg but ok.” She deleted the tweet just under a minute after publishing it, according to a ProPublica project that tracks deleted tweets from politicians.

Then earlier in November, Ocasio-Cortez criticized Musk’s plan to charge Twitter users an $8-a-month subscription fee to get a verified “blue check.”

“Lmao [laughing my ass off] at a billionaire earnestly trying to sell people on the idea that ‘free speech’ is actually a $8/mo subscription plan,” she tweeted.

“Your feedback is appreciated, now pay $8,” Musk clapped back.

Twitter was set ablaze by the new video:
