Despite the White House, President Biden, his attorney, and the Secret Service claiming they do not keep visitor logs for the president’s personal residence in Delaware, records are allegedly maintained of visitors to the homes of all presidents and former presidents, including Biden’s Wilmington home.

The Secret Service and the White House have told numerous reporters and just about anyone who will listen that they do not keep records of visitors to his home because it’s a personal residence. But that may not be entirely true, according to the Daily Mail.

“Like every president in decades of modern history, his personal residence is personal,” the White House Counsel’s Office asserted on Monday.

Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesman for the Secret Service, also claimed that the agency does not track visitors to Biden’s home because it is a “personal residence.” Again, that is not entirely accurate.

The Secret Service conducts background checks of all those who visit the home of current and former presidents. That creates a data log of who has visited the residences and it is reportedly never expunged, according to the Daily Mail. Pesky facts like that are fueling requests from Republicans who are demanding that visitor logs be handed over.

“There are several avenues to obtain information on who had access to classified documents at the Wilmington residence,” a spokesman for the House Oversight Committee told the New York Post, “and the Oversight Committee will pursue those avenues.”

Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA), who is a member of the House Judiciary Committee, said Monday afternoon that if no records exist, “We’ll have to seek it through testimony with family members or those who have been at the residence.”

Guglielmi admitted to the Daily Mail in an interview that background checks are conducted and generate electronic records on each visit.

In what appears to be a walk back of the claim that no visitor logs actually exist, Guglielmi is now saying that he never meant to mislead anyone over the records. When quizzed by reporters on the issue, he noted that guests and workers who enter the homes of Biden and former presidents are all screened under security protocols.

The media seems to have left out the fact that electronic records are generated and retained on everyone who comes and goes at Biden’s residences. They may not be specially labeled as formal visitor logs, but they serve the same function.

During what is called an Access Control Procedure, anyone who visits Biden’s personal residences, former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, or the grounds of any of the properties connected to them must first provide identification and submit to a background check.

Fox News revealed on Thursday that the Secret Service will hand over the names of Biden’s Wilmington visitors if requested by Congress, according to an unnamed source.

“When a visitor is to come to Biden’s home in Wilmington, his staff notifies the Secret Service and provides details on the visitor’s identity,” Norm Jarvis, a former Secret Service agent, commented. “An electronic check is conducted to uncover any criminal records, warrants for arrests, or contact with a foreign intelligence service. The electronic records on the background check and the visit are never expunged.”

Once the person visiting is cleared, they then have to provide some form of identification when they arrive, according to Jarvis.

The issue is even more heated considering Hunter Biden claimed in his 2021 memoir that he was “quarantined” for days inside his father’s Wilmington home where classified documents from Biden’s time as vice president were being improperly and insecurely stored, according to the New York Post. He was there with other family members as they awaited the results of the 2020 presidential election.

The memoir details Hunter Biden’s unrestricted access to areas where classified information was kept despite being addicted to drugs, entangled in overseas dealings with entities connected to the communist Chinese, involved in lurid sexcapades, and being under federal investigation. Hunter Biden himself is ostensibly a security risk and would likely never pass a background check.
