The Chicago Public Schools Office of the Inspector General released its annual report on Sunday, horrifically finding that hundreds of Chicago teachers and school officials groomed and sexually assaulted students over the last year.
According to the findings, there were over 300 misconduct allegations arising from more than 600 complaints for the 2021-22 school year that resulted in initiating criminal charges in 16 cases. There was a 125% increase from the previous fiscal year, according to ABC7 News.
An investigation by the Office of the Inspector General found that one teacher groomed and sexually assaulted a 17-year-old student three times. The teacher was charged with multiple counts of sexual assault and, following a trial in November, was acquitted on all counts. That was despite a preponderance of the evidence that was provided by the student and by social media records.
One case included a special education teacher who, according to the report, “groomed an eighth-grade student and ultimately had sexual intercourse with that student.”

A separate investigation uncovered the actions of a former JROTC staff member who allegedly had sexual relations with a high school girl over the course of a year when she was 16 and 17 years old. The minor was also reportedly given alcohol and marijuana. She also purchased the drug for the instructor, according to the OIG’s report.
There were hundreds of text messages and calls between the two as well.
“I’m ready to f*** right now … I’m not gonna be gentle either,” one message declared, according to the report.
When this particular instructor found out that he was possibly under investigation, he allegedly threatened to kill the girl and her family. The man was eventually taken into custody and sentenced to time served and four years probation after he pleaded guilty to sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse.
They got “more than 600 ‘adult on student’ misconduct allegations for the 2021-22 school year, substantiating more than half of them and initiating criminal charges in 16 cases.”
Hundreds in Chicago alone.

Fox News reported on another incident involving a teacher: “One high school teacher allegedly exchanged 4,000 text messages with a female student, including 400 in one day. The teacher said he was in an open marriage and was ‘attracted to other people.'” That teacher also evidently claimed to be bisexual.
In another encounter, a high school gym teacher allegedly exposed himself to a female student.
A charter school administrator reportedly took a high school junior to a Broadway play in downtown Chicago. During the performance he touched her leg and then following the show, as he drove her home, he “slid his hand down inside of the front of the student’s pants and touched his genitals.”
This same administrator took the student to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, London, Ibiza, and the Bahamas, according to the OIG. He eventually resigned after the OIG recommended he be fired.
See what has been exposed in the Chicago Public Schools. Years of specialization and grooming of children. It’s utterly and completely disgusting. We have fallen backwards into the Dark Ages.

Another case involved a high school teacher engaging in “a systemic pattern of grooming behaviors with five female students,” resulting in his pressuring them to engage in sexual acts. The case did not result in any criminal charges, according to the report.
An employee of a Chicago Public School vendor also allegedly “asked a fourth-grade student why her lips were chapped, and then stated that the student’s lips were chapped because she was “sucking d*ck.”
In another incident, a CPS substitute teacher who “asked a student to recruit another student for a ‘threesome,” told a student he loved her, repeatedly attempted to kiss a student and asked her “to make out with him,” commented on a student’s “hickey,” and described himself to students as “well hung.”

Mary Fergus, who is the executive director of media relations for the school district, told Fox News in a statement that education officials support the “work to investigate all issues of misconduct among our 40,000 team members.”
“As a District, we take seriously our responsibility to serve our families with integrity and to address individuals who breach CPS policies and the public’s trust and hold them accountable,” she commented. “CPS will continue to ensure our District policies and procedures support the highest ethical standards to ensure our valued team members act in the best interest of our students.”
Fergus claimed that the district has taken action against those engaged in these abusive acts.
