‘Sad old drunk’: Nancy Pelosi brutally heckled at New York City college

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Callif.) was brutally heckled while speaking recently at a New York City college in Manhattan and the barbs by a number of protesters hit a little too close to home, calling her a “warmonger” and “a sad old drunk.”

One man kicked off the richly deserved criticism, telling the leftist, “That’s a very good place for you… in the depths of hell. Because for some reason, you had a very bad obsession of getting us into war.”

“Hey, why is it that you did not admit that there were no WMDs in Iraq? You lied us into a war in Iraq. You got us to invade Afghanistan. Now over 90 percent of those people are impoverished and are dying. Why don’t you tell the truth about Nordstream? Why did we destroy Nordstream?” the man shouted as he was loudly booed and called an a**hole by at least one attendee.

“You’re leaving millions of Germans without energy. You have a knack for getting us into war. People like you should be arrested. You are a war criminal,” the protester yelled as he was dragged out of the venue by security.

A second protester stood up and started nailing Pelosi as soon as the first one was gone, “Hey, congresswoman! I came to see a warmonger but you’re a sad old drunk! What happened? When you went to Taiwan, were you looking for Ukraine? Did we blow up the Nordstream on accident or on purpose? Did you know about that?”

“Aren’t you supposed to be part of the indictment tomorrow? You’re a war criminal by definition Miss Pelosi. You got some nerve. Is that why you’re here in Manhattan? Is that why you’re here because you’re getting indicted tomorrow? You goddamn war criminal. How many people have died in your f***ing name? How many people have died because of Iraq? All of you forgot about Iraq? Iran? Lybia? Syria?” he screamed as security moved to get him out of there and people shouted, “Get out of here!.”

Two other people reportedly tried to stand up and take a jab at Pelosi as well but were taken down by security as the stunned audience nervously watched with a few booing the protesters.

“Dodd-Frank was always never going to work. If you don’t deal with the $600 trillion in derivatives, then there’s no chance for this economy,” a third man declared as he was removed while people loudly booed. “Don’t you see it all failed? None of it worked. None of it worked. We need Glass-Steagle.”

A fourth man kicked in briefly as well, “And then you land your plane in Taiwan. We wanna war with China at the same time. We all wanna have nuclear bombs dropped on our heads. We live in Manhattan. … By the way, Lyndon LaRouche is back in a big way and I’m here on behalf of everybody who loves peace and not war with Russia and war with China, and a new hot war with the East.”

The attacks on Pelosi come as the United States teeters on the brink of war with China, Russia, and Iran. President Biden has slipped multiple times saying that we would support Taiwan if China decides to invade the country.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) commented on Wednesday that the bond between the United States and Taiwan “is stronger now than at any time or point in my life” during a California summit with the island nation’s president.

The summit took place at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. It was the highlight of Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen’s whirlwind diplomatic tour of the island nation’s remaining allies. She is seeking to solidify their commitment to supply weaponry and military support as China threatens war. The Taiwanese president thanked McCarthy and the other leaders there, proclaiming that “their presence and unwavering support reassured the people of Taiwan” and serves as a reminder to the Taiwanese people “that we are not isolated, and that we are not alone,” according to the Washington Free Beacon.

This is the second time that the Taiwanese president has met with a senior House leader. The first time was with Pelosi in 2022.

China repeated itself on Wednesday “to resolutely fight back” against the summit. It claimed that it represented a threat to upset the Communist regime’s “one-China principle” and undermine “China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.” China also launched military drills and froze some diplomatic channels with the US government after Pelosi’s visit.
