Former Trump campaign manager and adviser, Steve Bannon, has accused Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) of being one of five “scumbag” GOP “traitors” to the MAGA movement who secretly support President Biden.
On his wildly popular War Room podcast, Bannon said Thursday, “Have enough guts to step up and tell us, Lindsey Graham, who you are.”
The accusation came following a statement Biden made during Wednesday’s press conference claiming that five Republican senators “told me that they agree with whatever I’m talking about for them to do.”
“I could sit here and laugh the whole time,” Bannon stated, “but it’s dangerous.”

Biden would not reveal the names of these Republicans, claiming they fear retribution if they publicly support the president. “Did you ever think that one man out of office could intimidate an entire party where they’re unwilling to take any vote contrary to what he thinks should be taken for fear of being defeated in a primary?” Biden asked.
On air, Bannon vowed to identify and expose the five senators, wasting no time naming Lindsey Graham. “The five traitors — and this is the scumbags and slimeballs you have here in the nation’s capital — he got five Republican senators [who] have told them they agree with what he’s doing,” Bannon fumed. “We are gonna find out who you are.”
For many, the accusation is hardly surprising. Graham has long been considered a RINO (Republican In Name Only) by conservative Americans weary of Graham’s consistently empty promises to ‘get to the bottom’ of things.
In November, Fox News host Tucker Carlson tore into Graham for reportedly begging police officers to shoot Trump supporters who entered the U.S. Capitol on January 6.
In a statement issued last September, former President Trump blasted Graham’s response to the highly contested 2020 elections. “Lindsey [Graham] and Mike [Lee (R-UT)] should be ashamed of themselves for not putting up the fight necessary to win,” Trump stated.
And in 2017, Lindsey Graham was named one of the most disliked senators in America in a Morning Consult poll, citing Graham’s then 40% disapproval rate.
It is hardly a stretch to imagine Graham as a clandestine Biden shill.
“They agree with what he’s doing and they would vote and support him, but they’re afraid of, wait for it, the War Room Posse,” Bannon said, referring to his audience. “They are afraid they will get primaried. Yes,” he affirmed, “Yes, you would get primaried. Yes, you would get beaten. And they’d be off the money train. They’d be away from the trough. The hog would be away from the trough.”
“Have the courage of your convictions,” Bannon continued, “and step up and let the American people decide.”
