California school teacher Christy Lozano claims that teachers have been taught to indoctrinate our children with a woke agenda, and she has the receipts to prove it.
In mid-January, Lozano, who has been teaching in the Santa Barbara Unified School District for 18 years, made a YouTube video to inform parents about her district’s password-protected teacher portal for Culturally Responsive Curriculum.
The materials, which are not accessible to parents or the community, are taught to students, starting in preschool through the 12th grade.
“The curriculum demonizes people,” Lozana says. “It’s destructive. It teaches toxic ideology.”
“It’s a terrible philosophy to foist on teachers and children,” she continued. “It’s cruel, misguided, counterproductive, radically political, divisive, and abusive.”
Lozano then took viewers through the Santa Barbara Unified School District’s password-protected portal and revealed sections labeled with such things as “Specifically for White Folks” and articles that include headings like, “What’s Expected of Teachers of Color”; “How White Colleagues Can Do Better”; and “Guidelines For Being Strong White Allies.”
“Assume racism is everywhere, every day,” the latter one directs.
And it just got worse from there.
Under “105 Things White People Can Do for Racial Justice,” teachers are told they should donate to Black Lives Matter and support defunding the police.
Scrolling further through the protected site, Lozano points out a section dedicated to BLM’s Week of Action, which, as BizPac Review reported, contains lessons such as “Diversity and Globalism” on Tuesday, and “Trans-Affirming, Queer Affirming, and Collective Value” on Wednesday.
The video caught the eye of Fox News’s Laura Ingraham, who had Lozano on Friday to discuss the deplorable curriculum and ask, “Who’s behind the lesson plans?”
“They’ve hired somebody to come in and write these plans,” Lozano said. “I think they just hired him this year, and I think they come from other areas where they have done the same things, maybe even taken over the school district in other areas like San Francisco.”
“A lot of the teachers do endorse it,” Lozano continued. “Some go along with it because they think it’s the trend, and you’re made to feel bad if you don’t, and if you don’t, you know, go along and be politically correct or whatever they want to say.”
Teacher trainings, Lozano said, are nothing new, and they are more about indoctrination than education.
“In Santa Barbara, they’ve been doing teacher trainings for us, for the last 10 to 15 years, where they’ve pretty much indoctrinated the teachers to then indoctrinate the students,” Lozano said.
“They make you believe — it’s very manipulative,” she stated. “I call it psychological warfare, and it’s hard to understand because it’s manipulation. They’ll lie to your face. They’ll tell you that this is the right thing to do. They’ll make you feel bad if you don’t do it, so people go along with it for fear of standing out, for fear of being different. And it’s real fear because there’s retaliation.
Lozano, herself, has been the target of such retaliation, but the Air Force vet doesn’t bow to intimidation.
“I’ve been retaliated on for speaking up for quite a while now,” she said, “but I’m not the type that moves away from danger. I move toward it. I’m a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and that’s what I’ve been taught.”
“I protect kids,” she continued. “Kids are why I teach. I love kids, and I will protect them. And I will go down fighting if I need to.”
