‘This guy is good at politics’: DeSantis puts out killer video of media twisting so-called ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill

Gov. Ron DeSantis fired back at the media for the fake news being spouted over the so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill.

The Florida Republican shared a video on Friday that highlighted the left-leaning media’s incessant misinterpretation of the parental education legislation that seeks to keep sex education out of the classroom for children in kindergarten through third grade.

From the media to the White House, critics have been in a meltdown over the bill without obviously reading what’s in it. Drumming up hysteria over a non-existent attack on the LGBTQ community, the left has been in overdrive to paint DeSantis as a monster.

But the popular governor, whose name has been floated as a potential 2024 presidential candidate, is not one to take the attacks lying down.

“The media can’t defend injecting sexual topics like transgenderism into classrooms for kindergarteners, so they concoct false narratives to try to divert attention from this fact in the hopes that people will not read the bill,” he wrote in a tweet Friday.

The comment was accompanied by a video montage of news and media personalities going after HB 1557, Parental Rights in Education.

“The media is lying” was overlaid on the images as they played.

The tweet sparked the predictable outrage from the governor’s critics but many others on Twitter appreciated DeSantis.
