Elon Musk’s crusade through Twitter has struck a lot of nerves and, when retired Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman was exposed as just another cog in the progressive propaganda machine in the latest effort to smear the billionaire’s efforts, it didn’t take much for the Chief Twit to trigger the mob again.
Much like taking the training wheels off a child’s bicycle, the privatization of the social media platform has soured its usage for many on the left who have to contend with the reality that their opinion of their own greatness doesn’t match their actual capabilities.
Early Sunday, the retired serviceman who had been on the National Security Council and got his claim to fame for being the star witness during the first impeachment of then-President Donald Trump pertaining to the “perfect” phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, got a taste of this first hand when he participated in an apparent spamming campaign against Musk.
“Kinda weird that @elonmusk gets to decide how like a half-billion people communicate,” Vindman posted. “Way too much power for one erratic individual to wield, don’t you think?”

Later that morning, podcaster Noam Blum picked up on the widely repeated post and mocked the bot behavior with an image collecting the echoes captioned with the same line adding the robotic, “BLEEP BLOOP,” leading Musk to declare, “They’re bots in human form.”

Maybe Vindman wouldn’t have said anything else if Musk had left it at that, but the entrepreneur wasn’t done as he reinforced the limited guidelines he had on the platform and challenged the origin of the campaign.
“Note, spamming, whether done by a set of humans or bots is against [Terms of Service],” he wrote before asserting, “Vindman is both puppet & puppeteer. Question is who pulls his strings … ?”

A nerve had clearly been struck despite the tweet seemingly pointing out the obvious, and the keyboard warrior fired back, “I’ll put my reputation up against yours any day. I’ve spent my entire adult life in service to my country. Upheld my oath to protect & defend this nation at great personal cost. You’ve demonstrated yourself to be a purveyor of hate and division. Let history be the judge.”
Of course, this didn’t help his case any as one user succinctly stated, “Pro tip: if you have to tell people how great you are, you aren’t.”

And if that wasn’t enough, Vindman’s wife jumped into the fray and announced to the world that her husband is, indeed, whipped, “I basically have him trained at this point so no need to pull his strings.”
As if he doesn’t embarrass himself enough now his wife publicly embarrasses him 🤦🏼♀️

Hypocrisy was also readily apparent as others called out Vindman’s silence over the greater reach that Mark Zuckerberg has had with Facebook than the brief time that Musk has owned Twitter and the failures of the previous owners to address serious concerns like child pornography which has been made a number one priority according to the billionaire.
Zuckerberg owns two major platforms and you’ve never been concerned about that — weird

Facebook is bigger than Twitter and you had nothing to say when Zuckerberg spent hundreds of millions rigging the 2020 election

Well the group of erratic individuals that were in charge couldn’t figure out how to kick of child porn but Elon did in a few weeks.
So nah, he’s doing fine.

Ultimately, Musk appeared to come out on top when he reminded, “Just a note to encourage people of different political or other views to engage in civil debate on Twitter. Worst case, the other side has a slightly better understanding of your views.”
