The unprecedented, historic raid of former President Donald Trump’s home has sparked questions about the whereabouts of his wife, former first lady Melania Trump.
Melania reportedly wasn’t home at the time, which by itself was enough to trigger a host of outlandish theories: that she and Trump are separated, that the feds found her divorce papers, that she was the one who’d “tipped off the feds,” etc.

The FBI knew to bring a locksmith to open the safe. Not an easy task to do in a few hours. Normally they cart it offsite to be opened later. Or did Melania know the combination and gave it to the FBI before serving divorce papers ?

In order for a judge to sign off on the FBI raid, it has to be *very* specific about what they think is there. Someone tipped them off. Was it Meadows? A staffer who loaded the boxes at the WH or at M-a-L? My guess, that makes me giggle if so:

FYI, the feds didn’t need to be “tipped off.” As previously reported, the raid stemmed from a months-long feud concerning allegedly classified documents that Trump had taken with him to Mar-a-Lago after leaving office.
All that’s known for certain is that Melania Trump wasn’t home at the time of the raid and that, for some inexplicable reason, the feds wound up searching through her wardrobe.
“FBI agents scoured Melania Trump’s wardrobe and spent several hours combing through Donald Trump’s private office, breaking open his safe and rifling through drawers when they raided the former First Family’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida Monday morning,” according to the New York Post.
This, in turn, sparked a debate over whether it was appropriate and relevant for the federal authorities to search through Melania’s clothes.
Some said no, that it wasn’t right, especially given that the feds were just after some allegedly classified documents. Others argued that it was justified and necessary, given as Trump could have hidden documents in the wardrobe. Others, meanwhile, had jokes.

Interestingly, Melania is among the Trump family members who haven’t said anything about the raid.
Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Lara Trump have all been outspoken about the raid, with the latter having accused the Biden administration of “weaponizing the justice system.”
But Melania, Tiffany Trump, Ivanka Trump, and Jared Kushner have all remained mum on the raid for reasons that remain unclear.
The last time Melania tweeted was on Aug. 3rd, the day that Rep. Jackie Walorski and two of her aides died in a car crash:
