Whistleblowers claim FBI has ‘voluminous evidence’ of ‘potential criminal conduct’ by Hunter Biden

The FBI currently has in its possession a “significant, impactful, and voluminous” amount of evidence that points to “potential criminal conduct” by President Joe Biden’s drug-addicted son, Hunter, and James Biden, the president’s younger brother, according to a powerful Republican senator.

In a Thursday letter written by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Ind.) and obtained by the Washington Examiner, Grassley writes, “Based on recent protected disclosures to my office, the FBI has within its possession significant, impactful, and voluminous evidence with respect to potential criminal conduct by Hunter Biden and James Biden.”

The letter was sent to Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and the man in charge of the ongoing criminal investigation into Hunter Biden, Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss.

The whistleblower claims are in reference to James’ and Hunter’s alleged dealings with CEFC China Energy, an energy conglomerate with ties to the communist-run Chinese government, and Hunter’s activities while working for Ukrainian gas behemoth Burisma Holdings. Unclassified records that back up the allegations have, according to Grassley, been reviewed by the Senator’s staff.

In the letter, Grassley cites Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Tony Bobulinski, who made headlines recently when he sat down for the second time with Fox News’s Tucker Carlson and explained that the FBI “altered history” in the 2020 election by suppressing the now infamous “laptop from hell” story.

In October 2020, Bobulinski went to the FBI and detailed efforts by the Biden family to conduct business in China.

“The information provided by Mr. Bobulinski formed a sufficient basis to open a full field investigation on pay-to-play grounds; however, it is unclear whether the FBI did so and whether the information is part of the ongoing criminal investigation by U.S. Attorney Weiss,” Grassley wrote.

“The evidence within the FBI’s possession that I am referencing is included, in part, in a summary of Tony Bobulinski’s October 23, 2020, interview with FBI agents,” Grassley continued. “In that interview, Mr. Bobulinski stated that the arrangement Hunter Biden and James Biden created with foreign nationals connected to the communist Chinese government included assisting them with potential business deals and investments while Joe Biden was Vice President; however, that work remained intentionally uncompensated while Joe Biden was Vice President.”

“After Joe Biden left the Vice Presidency, the summary makes clear that Hunter Biden and James Biden worked with CEFC and affiliated individuals to compensate them for that past work and the benefits they procured for CEFC,” he stated.

In addition to deals with Ye Jianming, founder of the now-defunct CEFC, Hunter Biden also allegedly worked with Patric Ho, Jianming’s top lieutenant.

Ho, whom Hunter called the “f***ing spy chief of China” in a 2018 recording, was hit with a three-year prison sentence in March 2019 for violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

“The case against Ho revealed that some evidence had been obtained through the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act,” the Washington Examiner reports.

After his arrest, Ho entered into a $1 million legal retainer agreement with Hunter Biden.

“The FBI has within its possession a different document, dated in October 2020, but referencing events that occurred years before. That document indicates that in May 2017 — approximately three months after the joint venture was hatched in Miami and the same month it was officially formed — Hunter Biden yelled at CEFC officials at a meeting for failing to fund the joint venture,” Grassley’s letter reads. “That same document notes that as of July 2017 the money still had not been transferred and James Biden considered calling CEFC officials and threatening to withdraw Biden family support from future deals.”

In August 2017, according to financial reports and statements made by Grassley from the Senate floor, CEFC Infrastructure Investment wired $5 million to Hudson West III bank accounts. The money was then transferred to Owasco and Lion Hall Group, firms of Hunter Biden and James Biden, respectively.

With respect to Burisma, which reportedly paid Hunter the outrageous sum of $50,000 per month to sit on its board while his dad was serving as vice president, Grassley noted potential evidence of still more criminal deeds.

“The FBI has within its possession a series of documents relating to information on Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of Burisma, and his business and financial associations with Hunter Biden,” Grassley wrote. “The documents in the FBI’s possession include specific details with respect to conversations by non-government individuals relevant to potential criminal conduct by Hunter Biden.”

But it wasn’t just Hunter and James who were blasted in the senator’s letter. Grassley also called out the FBI for the manner in which it dealt with accusations against Biden’s son in the time leading up to the 2020 election.

“It is unclear,” he wrote, “whether the FBI followed normal investigative procedure to determine the truth and accuracy of the information or shut down investigative activity based on improper disinformation claims in advance of the 2020 election. … It is also unclear whether U.S. Attorney Weiss has performed his own due diligence.”
