AOC wants answers after Jeffries’ curious sit-down with Jared Kushner

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez didn’t have much more to say about House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries meeting with President Trump’s son-in-law other than agreeing that she finds it concerning.

Jeffries had reportedly met privately with Jared Kushner to discuss common ground before the upcoming midterm elections, according to a late August report from The New York Times.

AOC first responded to the report on Monday, saying, “I think that what we’d love to see as well with respect to Mr. Kushner is some transparency into his dealings and what he is doing with respect to his conflicts of interest.”

“I think that what we really need right now is to focus on our plan for how we’re going to help people’s lives,” she concluded.

Jeffries has reportedly been nervous about the rising socialist movement within the Democrat Party.

When Democrat Socialist AOC was asked by MediasTouch on the Capitol steps if she was still “concerned” about the meeting between Jeffries and Kushner, she agreed that she was.

“Yeah,” she quipped before adding, “I don’t know what that was about.”
