Billionaire triggers humorless leftists with $250 million offer to fund a Trump third-term

Donald Trump never misses an opportunity to trigger leftists, so when an Israeli billionaire offered to fund a third term for America’s favorite president, he didn’t exactly turn it down.

Miriam Adelson jokingly offered to donate $250 million to Trump’s candidacy for a 2028 presidential run and said she had already discussed the proposition with former law professor Alan Dershowitz.

“I met Alan Dershowitz. And he said the legal thing about four more years. And I say, ‘Alan, I agree with you.’ So we can do it. Think about it,” Adelson told Trump as he cocked his head and searched the room for Dershowitz.

The guests at the White House Hanukkah celebration ate it up and chanted, “Four more years!”

A possible third term has been discussed before, after Trump’s unconventional second term in the Oval Office.

“I think the people wouldn’t like that,” Trump told reporters earlier this year of the idea. “It’s too cute. It wouldn’t be right.”

But it hasn’t stopped the president from having fun with the idea.

In August, Trump showed off “Trump 2028” merch being sold in the White House to foreign leaders:

That scene sent plenty of humorless lefties squealing, and the latest 2028 quip didn’t disappoint either:

And on and on it goes…
