Blue City prints red cards for illegals, informing them of their ‘rights’

In a seeming effort to stick it to President Trump, Democrats in at least one blue city are doubling down on dumb and dangerous.

The Medford City Democratic Committee, just outside of Boston, has purchased 4,000 cards to be used by citizens and noncitizens, Fox News Digital reported.

The red cards feature Fourth and Fifth Amendments from the U.S. Constitution explaining they are protected from “warrantless searches, seizures, and having to speak to authorities without legal counsel,” Fox explained.

“Red cards are like helpful business cards that a holder can hand to an officer if they approach in public,” Medford City Councilor Matthew Leming wrote on the committee’s website.

“We’re just trying to find things we can do that are feasible to resist what’s happening at the federal level,” Leming told WFXT. “It’s a way to protect our immigrant communities from the actions of the current administration.”

All the cards are printed in English on one side, with some written in Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian, and Arabic on the other.

Leming told Fox Digital that the Democratic City Committee footed the bill for the cards, with 4,000 more approved for purchase.

X users were unimpressed with the move, with one calling out the left for its favorite pastime: “Virtue Signaling.”
