CNN gins up fresh outrage as White House ballroom approval nears

It’s time to drum up manufactured outrage about President Trump’s new White House ballroom. Why? Because it’s poised to get final approval on the project.

CNN was at the ready with the news, pointing out the “scathing backlash” the president’s pet project has received and citing the delay of the final vote.

The National Capital Planning Commission was planning to approve final plans on Thursday, but postponed to April 2, “given the large amount of public input on the project,” CNN reported.

“We’re going to take the time to deliberate, and we’re going to have a final vote on April 2,” NCPC chairman and Trump aide Will Scharf said.

CNN was sure to point out some of the blow back the project had gotten: harsh terms like “gaudy,” “garish,” “ostentatious,” “glitzy,” “obscene,” “hideous,” “disgusting,” “vulgar,” “cheap,” “low class” and a “soulless hotel conference space” were used, the outlet claimed.

Of course, there’s nothing that Trump could do to appease those infected by TDS, but the planning commission is apparently considering the blowback.

A ‘thank you’ would be nice.

And it looks like something out of East Germany before it was liberated.

Utter madness.
