CNN’s rank-and-file reportedly irked by Kaitlyn Collin’s SWANKY new vacation digs

CNN host Kaitlyn Collins is living high on the hog, and her struggling colleagues aren’t too happy about it.

After flailing ratings, a sweeping overall, and widespread cuts at CNN, it’s being reported that one of the network’s top anchors just bought a swanky vacation home in Nantucket, according to the New York Post’s Page Six.

Some of CNN’s rank-and-file have reportedly been griping about the “very expensive” Nantucket purchase, where homes reportedly go for anywhere between $4 to $30 million and beyond.

“She just bought some bougie place and CNN people are grossed out that she paid so much,” said a source. “She’s way overpaid,” they added, according to Page Six.

Collins has long been accused of being a partisan hack, and is no friend of the “MAGA” movement, as witnessed in an entertaining back and forth  with Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt:

Some thought it seemed risky to buy property near the ocean when you believe it will inevitably flood.

Collins had at least one ally with another CNN insider explaining to the Post that the top anchor has two positions at the network, one being the host of her own primetime show, “The Source with Kaitlyn Collins,” and the other as CNN chief White House correspondent.

Collins was part of the short-lived breakfast show with Don Lemon and Poppy Harlow before launching her own program in July 2023. The show has seen ratings fluctuate since its inception, according to the Post.

While Collin’s exact salary is not disclosed, most estimates put her annual haul around $3million, with some as high as $3.5 million.
