During a White House celebration of Black History Month, D.C. resident Forlesia Cook, who lost her grandson to murder, let the world know how she feels about the current administration.
“He keeps it real, just like grandma,” Cook said of the president’s signature style. “I appreciate that, cause I can trust him. He tells exactly how he feels and what he thinks.
“Thank God for this president.”
Cook quickly became emotional, recalling how law enforcement under Trump’s direction came to her house “to talk about the murder” of her grandson. Cook went on to say that she had been vocal about crime in her area, but nobody had been listening to her pleas until the Trump administration stepped in and stepped up.
