Desperate Dem elicits audible groans when she whips out the ‘woman card’ in heated hearing

When losing an argument, just whip out one of the many victim-cards employed by Democrats and hope for the best.

That’s the move California Democrat Rep. Linda Sanchez tried to play in a heated exchange with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. Sanchez was questioning Bessent on President Trump’s tariffs during a House Ways and Means hearing on Wednesday.

“Prices are rising on many everyday goods,” Sanchez said. “On average, Trump’s tariffs are estimated to cost households $3,000 more for the same goods than they would have last year,” though she offered no source for her claims.

When Bessent attempted to interject, Sanchez apparently became flustered and cut him off with the “woman card.”

“Please don’t interrupt me … I know I’m a woman, but please try to limit yourself to answering my questions.”

Thankfully, people are no longer buying this tired tactic, and the room erupted in groans.

“Oh, come on.” Sanchez shot back. “No, I’m sorry, but we get talked over all the time, and I don’t want that to happen at this hearing.”
