An X user who markets herself as a “strong voice against Trumpism” is taking heat after putting her vitriolic ignorance on display.
Andrea Junker responded to the SCOTUS case challenging President Trump’s executive order on birthright citizenship and asked if Don Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump’s citizenship should be challenged because at the time of their births, their mother, Ivana, wasn’t yet a U.S. citizen.
There’s just one problem… their father was born in Queens, NY.
As someone who publicly dedicated part of their life to fighting “Trumpism,” one would assume that she knew that.
But here’s the post, in all its ill-fated glory:
Seems like a good day to remind everyone that Trump’s ex-wife Ivana wasn’t an American citizen until 1988. She gave birth to Don Junior in 1977, Ivanka in 1981, and Eric in 1984. — Let’s cancel their birthright citizenship first.

While Junker (perfect name by the way), amassed over 20,000 ignorant likes for the illogical point, she also took a brutal beating in backlash:
‘Birthright Citizenship’ only comes into play when NEITHER parent is a US citizen.
Did you really not know that?

She didn’t think it through. That part we know for sure.
Hey dumbass, their father is an American citizen.

You kind of forget the part where Trump was a citizen and therefore they are citizens. Look it up dummy.

Hey, this is stupid. Trump was an American citizen, therefore his children were automatic. Birthright refers to illegal immigrants, tourists and others. Diplomats children don’t become US citizens. So why should an illegal immigrants?

Their father is an American citizen so it shouldn’t matter if she was at the time. Also she was here legally.

How dumb are you? Why anyone would listen to you is beyond me. She came here LEGALLY and was married to a U.S. citizen who later became our great president!

Again, it’s amazing how much Democrats (and their ‘journalists’) rely on their audience not understanding how things work. https://t.co/83AFEU4QEx

It doesn’t appear that Junker has responded to the backlash or clarified her position. Probably because she doesn’t have to, her audience will absorb and run with it until the next false narrative drops.
