Fulton County ACCEPTS disgraced ‘Super Mayor’s’ bid to run for office despite alleged double residency

Tiffany Henyard was allegedly a resident of Georgia while serving as the Democrat “Super Mayor” of Dolton, Illinois.

Henyard is seeking a spot on South Fulton County’s District 5 on the Fulton County Commission in Georgia and is running as a Republican.

Henyard was grilled over her residency during a meeting at the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections before the Fulton County primaries on May 19, Fox News Digital reported.

“Did you know that in Cook County, Illinois, to hold an office there, you have to be a resident in that jurisdiction?” Board Commissioner Julie Adams asked Henyard. “So, you were the mayor until May 4 of 2025, but yet you’re saying you became a resident of Georgia on May 1 of 2025.”

“OK,” Henyard responded, according to Fox News Digital, and argued her “lame duck” status after losing another mayoral race in Illinois allowed her to become a resident of Georgia.

“But you were mayor, correct?” Adams asked.

“My title was mayor, yes,” Henyard said.

Heynard’s weak argument apparently worked, and the elections board approved her residency requirement to run for the Fulton County Commission by a 3-1 vote, Fox reported.

Heynard reportedly received thousands in gross pay as Dolton mayor after allegedly moving to Georgia, according to WGN investigations.

The “Super Mayor” has been accused of corruption and financial mismanagement. She had reportedly been living a lavish lifestyle as the mayor while the village of Dolton’s bank account plummeted from a $5.6 million balance to a $3.6 million deficit, Fox reported.

Folks on X weren’t surprised to learn that Fulton County accepted Heynard’s bid to run despite her extremely sketchy circumstances:
