High schooler violently attacked when he shows up to anti-ICE protest with a different opinion

Middle and high school anti-ICE protests have been witnessed across the country, many of them turning violent, but among the chaos, some unsung heroes are emerging.

The protests have become so prolific that the topic is trending at the top of the charts on X. A quick perusal of the trending timeline shows everything from kids being allowed to take to the streets during school hours to scream leftist chants, to a mom proudly making “F**K ICE’ posters with her young child.

Be damned their education:

In California, the political activism is starting as early as elementary school, with the assistance of elected officials:

But it’s not all depressing news. According to a growing number of videos, parents and even some students are fighting back.

Take, for starters, a student who goes by Danny Spud on X. He attended an anti-ICE protest at Lake Zurich High School, a suburb of Chicago, to exercise his right to free speech.

“I was the only one that decided to hold a sign that said ‘I Love ICE’,” he stated on X with video of a disturbing encounter.

“Instead of allowing me to express my opinion, I was assaulted — Just for standing up for law enforcement,” Spud continued.

“What is happening to America?”

The young man’s encounter went viral, and he was celebrated for his courage.

Indeed, they should.

Speaking of parents, the trend on X is revealing some of them fighting back, too.

There are too many videos (both good and bad) to list them all, but perhaps one of the most disturbing and telling might be one of a mother attempting to remove her son from a protest, only to be told by him to pound sand.

Keep fighting the good fight, mom.
