‘Hot Girls for Zohran’ founder fired from new political gig over shocking posts

Kaif Gilani, founder of the “Hot Girls for Zohran” campaign, is out of a job after shocking social media posts were uncovered.

NYC Comptroller and current Congressional candidate Brad Lander fired Gilani, who had been working as his top consultant, over prolific posts that had, in part, celebrated Hamas and insinuated that Israel was connected to 9/11.

“We were not aware of these tweets when we hired them,” a Lander spokesperson told the Jewish Insider. “As soon as we became aware, we terminated their contract. They definitely do not reflect Brad’s views. Brad has denounced and condemned Hamas, the October 7th attacks, and the sexual violence that they committed on after [sic] October 7th, on many occasions.”

X user Yehuda Teitelbaum raised a red flag over the story, warning that Gilani’s situation is just one of many in the current state of New York politics.

“Kaif Gilani, founder of “Hot Girls for Zohran,” received $15,000 for website and social media work. His X feed included retweets claiming Israel was behind JFK’s assassination and 9/11, mocking Jewish fears of antisemitism, defending Hamas’s negotiating position, and calling for “overwhelming military force” against Israel. He also dismissed reports of Hamas sexual violence on October 7th,” Teitelblaum claimed on X.

“After the posts were uncovered, Lander’s campaign terminated the contract.”

“It just doesn’t end. It’s one story after the next. These are people hired, paid, and integrated into serious political operations in New York City.”

“Our city is being overrun by demented, violent activists at every level.”

“Does anyone in New York care about this?” he asked.

That’s an excellent question, and it’s sad that it even has to be asked.
