Jake Tapper reportedly fuming after CNN squashes his relentless book promotions

Veteran media propagandist Jake Tapper is reportedly fuming over a new CNN policy.

The network updated the rules on February 4th in what appears to be a direct response to Tapper’s on-air promotion of his own book.

“The Lead” host had reportedly been hawking his eighth book, which he co-wrote, titled “President Joe Biden’s decline and his disastrous decision to seek reelection.”

His recurrent plugs irked coworkers behind the scenes who had complained that Tapper was turning the network into a “rolling infomercial,” according to a report by Breaker.

The network responded and reportedly put an end to Tapper’s self-promoting shenanigans.

“We should not mix news and advertising, even when what is being advertised is work by a leading CNN journalist,” the revised policy reportedly states.

CNN anchors will be allowed to acknowledge the publication of a book on its release date, but that is where it ends, according to the new rules.

CNN anchors will also be barred from using the network’s online tools and platforms for book-related promotions without the approval from CNN PR, according to the New York Post.

Tapper is reportedly “very, very unhappy” with the new order and has sought support from co-workers.

Lest we forget, Tapper ran cover for Biden’s obvious decline before he decided to “come clean” and report on it for money.
