Jeffries slams Trump for saying out loud what millions are thinking about Ilhan Omar ‘attack’

Dem House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries blasted President Trump for saying out loud what millions of rational people are thinking.

Following the moment where Minnesota Rep Ilhan Omar was sprayed with a smelly liquid during a press conference on Tuesday, theories that the bizarre scene was staged immediately emerged.

Why?

Because Omar is embroiled in scandals and is entrenched in a state rife with widespread massive fraud.

Trump called into question the authenticity of the alleged attack against Omar, and he was far from alone.

Instead of investigating the validity of the “staged” accusations, CNN’s Kate Bolduan went straight to the Democrat playbook and slammed Trump for bringing it up.

“I want to ask you first about Ilhan Omar, the congresswoman,” Bolduan began.

“You heard — Sara has done extensive — she was in the room at the time. Um, Capitol Police have spoken out and said this is horrendous, and this man should be brought to the — have the toughest charges brought against him possible. The president spoke overnight about this and admitted that he had not seen the video, but told ABC News ‘She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her.’ What’s your reaction to this?”

Jeffries took Bolduan’s assist and ran with it.

“Well, that’s a disgusting comment, and the president’s lies and misinformation continue to fan the flames of these types of violent incidents,” he said.

“And it’s at a moment like this where we actually need leadership from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and it’s something that we never get from this president. Ilhan Omar, of course, is a strong, courageous, hardworking public servant. This should have never happened. I’m thankful that she is physically OK. She’s mentally strong, as is always the case, and we stand by her.”

Meanwhile, the media is being slammed for its one-sided “coverage” of the incident:

Pathetic indeed.
