Laken Riley 911 call released as murder trial begins, spurs furious calls for ‘death penalty’

Highly disturbing new details have emerged in the murder case of Georgia college student Laken Riley reigniting calls for the death penalty.

Venezuelan illegal alien Jose Ibarra is standing trial for the brutal murder of Riley, 22, who was a nursing student at the University of Georgia where she was abducted while jogging on campus and subsequently killed on February 22nd. The shocking crime sparked justifiable outrage at the Joe Biden administration and Border Czar Kamala Harris for allowing millions of unvetted “migrants” like Ibarra to cross unopposed over the U.S. Southern border.

As the murder trial began, a 911 call from Riley was released in court. The call is chilling in its silence knowing Riley was fighting for her life, as Ibarra’s DNA was found under her fingernails. At one point during the call, a man’s voice is heard, presumed to be Ibarra.

National correspondent for Fox News Bill Melugin reported more ‘horrible’ details as the case got underway.

Melguin reported that Riley was found with her skull bashed in by a rock with clothes torn off and disheveled.

“Her alleged killer is a Venezuelan illegal alien caught and released at the TX border by the Biden/Harris admin in 2022,” Melugin continued.

“Prosecutors say he left a fingerprint on her iPhone. She was able to call 911, a male voice could be heard, and then the call hangs up. Prosecutors say she fought back, his DNA was under her nails.

“Her Garmin Watch was tracking her medical data until the moment her heart stopped.”

Melugin also reported that the suspect was caught on surveillance video “walking away from the area where Riley’s heart stopped minutes afterwards where he is seen dumping clothing into a dumpster.”

The Fox correspondent also made a television appearance to report the details which can be viewed below:

The horrific courtroom revelations reignited a fresh wave of anger aimed at the Biden administration:

As it turns out, you’re not alone in the hope of the death penalty. That very phrase began to trend on X as people learned the news.
