MMA fighter leaves home intruder wishing he’d picked another house

An alleged home intruder picked the wrong house to invade.

Mixed martial arts fighter Henry Rojas was visiting his sister just north of Ft Lauderdale when his teenage nephew began screaming that a stranger was in the living room, CBS Miami reported.

“He was saying, ‘Uncle, wake up!'” Rojas told the news outlet.

The intruder, Austin Caresani, 31, reportedly said he mistakenly walked into the wrong home after a night of drinking and was visibly bruised and battered while facing a judge hours after the incident.

Rojas told CBS that he’s prepared for such occasions and only relies on God and his bare hands.

“I’m prepared. It’s not my first time; I don’t feel pain. Nothing,” Rojas told CBS Miami. “I don’t have guns. I wasn’t looking for a knife — just God and my hands, that’s it.”

Caresani was charged with home invasion and remains in custody at the Broward County Jail as of Tuesday, with a bond set at $20,000, the New York Post reported.

“Protect your family,” Rojas said. “There are a lot of crazy people [who] don’t believe in God, who [are] only looking for damage.”

X users weighed in on the story with plenty of accolades for Rojas.
