The Trump administration scored a big win for America and election integrity.
Under the guidance of a proposed rule from the Trump admin, Postmaster General David Steiner told lawmakers the U.S. Postal Service will no longer deliver mail-in ballots in states that are non-compliant with providing voter data to the federal government.
Steiner’s announcement came on Wednesday amid pushback from Democrats at a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing.
“If a state refuses to turn their absentee voter list over to the federal government, will the Postal Service still mail their ballots under this … rule?” Sen. Gary Peters (MI), the committee’s top Democrat, asked Steiner.
“Under our proposed regulation, no,” Steiner replied.
Democrats tried to frame Trump’s rule as an attempt to federalize elections and questioned whether the Postal Service has any authority to enforce the rule.
Steiner had a response and doubled down on his earlier claim that the rule is only meant to ensure that “the right ballots are going to the right people.”
“I would think that states would want the information to ensure that the ballots that they think they’re sending out are the ballots that are actually getting sent out,” Steiner later added.

Michigan Democrat Senator Elise Slotkin blasted Steiner’s move, claiming it was over an “obsession” of Trump.
“Please push back on being a pawn in this authoritarian playbook,” she told Steiner. “The Postal Service is one of the most important institutions in our country. Don’t taint it with the obsession of this one man.”
Thankfully, Steiner was not swayed, but said that the Postal Service would comply with any potential court rulings on the matter.
Plenty of X users predicted court orders would be imminent:
AND THE TRAP CLOSES.
How FAR do you think the UNIPARTY Democrats and the UNIPARTY GOP get before this November as they are trying to use the FEDERAL COURTS to launch lawsuits in which they DEMAND that FEDERAL JUDGES **order** the US Postmaster General to DISOBEY and DISREGARD…

Postmaster has some balls and I appreciate it. We need more outspoken members helping where they can.

Mail-in voting should be eliminated except for the disabled, the infirm, and those residing abroad (including the military), but this is a good start.

A “good start” indeed.
