TV reporter Billy Bush went off on Karen Bass, and the timing couldn’t have been worse for the embattled mayor.
Bush fumed after he reportedly got his fourth flat tire since November, and the kicker… he was on his way to interview Bass’ mayoral opponent, Spencer Pratt.
“Karen Bass, your timing could not be worse,” he fumed.
Pratt has captured the national spotlight for his common-sense, unconventional, often humorous but always hard-hitting campaign and debate style.
Pratt’s home was burned to smithereens in the Palisades fire, and he blames Bass’ lack of leadership for much of the destruction, along with rampant homeless and animal abuse on city streets, and dilapidated infrastructure — like pot holes!
“I’m sorta feeling like ‘saca la Bass-ura’ has never been stronger or more top of mind for me,” Bush added.
“What’s the definition of insanity, LA? Do the same thing over and over again and hope for a different outcome? C’mon,” he said.

There was plenty of reaction to the story, with many saying the problem goes well beyond LA:
The roads all over California are the same. Remember all the gas tax propositions that raised the gas tax so that roads could be fixed, that the money couldn’t be used for any other purpose? It passed but clearly that money was used elsewhere.

Bass loves Cuba so much, she decided to make LA the spitting image of Havana.

It’s not just LA… pretty much all of California has crappy streets and highways. If only people would pay attention and vote differently!!!

Bush did make it to the interview and told Pratt that he “absolutely” thinks he can win.
Billy Bush tells Spencer Pratt that Tucker Carlson texted him asking, “Can he win?”
“I said he absolutely can win,” Bush replies, calling Pratt “a unicorn.”
When asked if he was spiritually motivated to run for LA mayor, Pratt says he’s been praying and is “locked in on destiny… pic.twitter.com/J0chJYKatR
