Residents in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta are taking to the streets to defend their city.

Ceuta sits across the Straights of Gibraltar from mainland Spain in North Africa, bordering Morocco. An estimated 50,000 – 70,000 migrants poured over the border into Ceuta from Morocco in late July, prompting fear and outrage from residents, and reportedly little help from Spanish authorities.

At the time, President Trump warned that if Dems gain control in the midterms, a future invasion of America will make what’s happening in Spain “look small time.”

Fast forward one month, and it appears the situation continues to seriously strain the city of 84,000, and locals are taking matters into their own hands, according to hundreds of videos circulating on X.

Makeshift camps along the beaches are reportedly being destroyed:

The Red Cross has been busy in Ceuta since the invasion — helping the invaders. It seems the residents are attempting to put an end to that too:

Spanish police also showed up during the recent days and nights of uprising — to fire rubber bullets at Ceuta residents.

Despite the odds, these patriotic Spaniards told local news that they are in it for the long haul. “We’d rather die on our feet than live on our knees,” one of the men says.

According to at least one report, Spaniards were able to make the Red Cross turn away:

Cueta residents weren’t having it when another news team rolled up:

The people of Ceuta have had enough.

When the locals saw that journalists from the liberal TV channel La Sexta had arrived to slander their protest against illegal migration, the locals quickly walked up to them and told them to get lost.

An elderly woman cried at the site of her fellow residents defending their city:
