‘They big mad’: Stephen King floats wild Trump rumor after death wish falls flat

Stephen King, who could have left a lasting legacy as a legendary author, is instead choosing to risk his once-reputable reputation to own Trump.

Bloodthirsty rumors went rampant over the weekend when President Trump appeared to take a brief hiatus from the press. That’s not to say he wasn’t working; he just wasn’t as accessible as the president usually is.

Leftists who think of Trump 24/7 began to spread wild and hopeful rumors of Trump’s demise, and speculation that the president was gravely ill, possibly even dead, spread like wildfire. When Trump reappeared and dismissed the rumors, Stephen King couldn’t just take “the L,” instead floating a new conspiracy — that Trump himself may have ignited the rumors that he was sick or dead, for ratings!

“Trump is a hell of a carny pitchman, I have to give him that. When a ton of people tune in, he’s going to say he’s sending troops to Chicago. Probably started the rumor he’s sick or dead himself,” King wrote in the safety of the leftist echochamber platform BlueSky.

TDS is a hell of an affliction, and is shared by several BlueSky users who entertained King’s outlandish accusation.

“To be fair, if he did announce he was deathly ill, it would be his most popular comment ever!” one user wrote.

“He can be both sick and sending troops into Chicago.

“He needs a distraction from Epstein victims speaking tomorrow so likely he will whip up loads of highly shiny distractions later so they don’t get much coverage with the news focus splitting in “multiple directions,” wrote another.

And there was still hope among many:

“But he is sick, just not dead, yet. Sounds like a great book title: Not Dead, Yet.”

Talk about sick.

Meanwhile, King’s wild rant made some noise on X too:
