Tim Walz throws Kamala under the bus in media blitz that has ‘I’m running’ written all over it

Failed VP candidate Tim Walz threw some shade at his former running mate in a media blitz tour that has “I’m running for president in 2028” all over it.

Aside from the predictable and hyperbolic attacks against President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, Walz threw Kamala Harris partially under the bus for losing the last election.

“And look, I own this. We wouldn’t be in this mess if we had won the election, and we didn’t,” Walz told MSNBC.

His comments seem to be an extension of remarks he made to Politico on Saturday, where he was more directly critical of the Kamala campaign.

“We shouldn’t have been playing this thing so safe,” he said of their disastrous run. “I think we probably should have just rolled the dice and done the town halls, where (voters) may say, ‘You’re full of s—, I don’t believe in you.’ I think there could have been more of that.”

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

It’s unlikely that more Kamala cackling at town halls and Walz prancing on stage would have helped their campaign, but for “some reason” he’s saying it anyway.

Of course, Walz spent most of his time slamming the Trump administration. “He is the worst possible business executive that I have ever witnessed… I need the business community to speak up,” Walz said of Trump.

“The Wall Street Journal, thank you. Thank you for saying this is the stupidest trade war because I’ve been saying it, and so now I can go back to my constituents, Republican constituents, and say this is the reality of what you’re facing. So again, there is going to be pain.”

Walz was roundly criticized for claiming “Americans have had it” with the Trump administration:
