Trump cracks up Oval Office when he ‘corrects’ Duffy’s pronunciation of ‘Buttigieg’

President Trump had folks in the Oval Office giggling when he “corrected” Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy on the pronunciation of his predecessor’s name.

Trump has long been slamming former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg for being grossly incompetent. And in Trump’s signature way, he has dubbed the former Transportation Secretary with his own not-so-flattering nickname: “Boot-edge-edge.”

Duffy was given a chance to address policies to bring down the cost of automobiles, and mentioned the Biden administration in comparison. That’s when Trump jokingly jumped in with his pronunciation “correction.”

“Biden and Buttigieg actually did an analysis using …” Duffy said before being cut off by Trump.

“Boot-edge-edge,” The president stressed.

“Edge-edge, that’s right. Boot-edge-edge,” Duffy conceded as the two shared a laugh.
