Governor J.B. Pritzker is taking heat for whitewashing the deaths of two people murdered by career criminals who are protected by Illinois policies.
On Thursday, Pritzker announced the “passing away” of Chicago firefighter Michael Altman during his “time of duty”, but neglected to mention a devastating fact about the blaze he had been fighting.
X users were quick to correct the record, resulting in a brutal community note providing more important context.
He didn’t just “pass away.”
He was murdered by a career criminal known arsonist who had a warrant out for his arrest since his last prison release in your soft-on-crime hellhole state https://t.co/0jZkAlAr39

Michael Altman’s killer had FOUR ARRESTS SINCE JULY and was walking free on a warrant.
How many times does JB Pritzker have to lower the flags before he admits the SAFE-T Act is killing people?

“Passed away battling a fire in the line of duty”
Sounds sad. Unfortunate. Sounds like risk of job
Reality: he was murdered. A deliberate arson attempt in an apartment building. A fire trap set by a perennial criminal; a methhead. Needed to be in jail but SAFE-T Act set free

Another victim of your Safe-T Act. How many innocent people need to die because of your policies? pic.twitter.com/nDVcpIML3w

Tragically, far too many people are dying because of the blue state’s policies.
Just days earlier, the Sanctuary State governor was asked about the senseless and cold-blooded murder of a Chicago college student, Sheridan Gorman, by an illegal alien.
He blamed President Trump.
Gov. JB Pritzker says Sheridan Gorman was kiIIed by an illegal alien thanks to TRUMP!

Those comments also earned him considerable backlash:
Open borders, soft on crime, and sanctuary cities are all democrat policies, that’s who to blame.

Why don’t they put a permanent banner beneath this guy whenever he’s being interviewed, no matter the subject?
“PRITZKER SAYS, EVERYTHING IS TRUMP’S FAULT!”

Is there a single tragedy in Illinois you’re actually willing to take responsibility for, or is the buck always passed to the nearest Republican?

He and his Dem cohorts will continue doing the same as long as they keep getting elected.
