University Dean finds herself out of job after despicable Charlie Kirk post

The horrific murder of Charlie Kirk is exposing the hatred that’s deeply embedded in many leftists, and unsurprisingly, in many who work in “education.”

Take, for instance, Assistant Dean of Students at Middle Tennessee University, Laura Sosh-Lightsy, who couldn’t contain her vitriol over the public assassination of Kirk.

“Looks like ol’ Charlie spoke his fate into existence. Hate begets hate. ZERO sympathy,” she wrote on social media without a hint of self-awareness.

Perhaps realizing she went too far, Lightsy posted soon after in an attempt to clarify that she wasn’t “celebrating” the killing of Kirk. Only, the loss of his “message of violence.”

WHAT?

Native Tennessean and Director at the Leadership Institute, Mathew Hurtt, continued to follow Sosh-Lightsy and advised her to “put the wine down.”

“Lol” is right.

But it was too late for Sosh-Lightsy. The damage was done, and she soon learned her fate as a “former” Assistant Dean of Students after being “fired effective immediately.”

“An MTSU employee today offered inappropriate and callous comments on social media concerning the horrific and tragic murder of Charlie Kirk,” a statement from MTSU President Sidney A. McPhee wrote. “The comments by this employee, who worked in a position of trust directly with students, were inconsistent with our values and have undermined the university’s credibility and reputation with our students, faculty, staff, and the community at large. This employee has been fired effective immediately. We extend our deepest sympathies to the Kirk family.”

X users had “ZERO sympathy” for her firing:

Obviously!

And God only knows how many more there are at MTSU and elsewhere.
