Video of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ranting and raving, presumably in a restaurant near a bar, is making the rounds for all the wrong reasons.
It’s no secret, nor should it be, that AOC was a former bartender before rising in the ranks to Democrat stardom. So, when someone on TikTok posted the Dem rep flailing her arms while going on about the evils of capitalism (or something), it stirred up a lot of jokes.
“There’s too much money. Too much relationships. It’s too long tail… and we marched ahead in a succinct reaction of ciniscm,” the young Dem droned on, presumably as part of a victory lap over NYC’s socialist mayor-elect.
“We reject dystopia!” she declared.
It’s not certain if AOC had been drinking before her latest rant, but it definitely made X users want to:
