The White House war with fake news media heated up on Thursday after it booted CNN from President Donald Trump’s traveling press pool.

CNN was among the media outlets listed to accompany the president on his trip to Texas and Oklahoma, according to a document released by the White House on Sunday.

But the media outlet has reportedly been wiped from the slate just days after a federal judge temporarily halted Trump administration efforts to bar CNN, Politico and MS NOW from the White House press pool.

The networks are suing the Trump administration over the White House ban, but the judge’s temporary order reportedly doesn’t apply to President Trump’s travels.

Late Wednesday the White House pulled CNN from the press pool covering Trump’s swing through Denton and Durant. CNN was on the rotation to cover it, and by Thursday’s guidance they were gone.

Word of CNN’s removal spread like wildfire Thursday morning and was supported by plenty of X users:

Obama did the exact same thing with the NY Post, Dallas Times, and a couple of other outlets. It wasn’t a big issue then.
Obama even spied on James Rosen and the people when he was in contact with, including his parents.
