911 dispatcher lashes out at ‘far left politicians’ running Chicago into the ground after crime-filled weekend

Democratic leaders seemed more than willing to use the tragedy in Uvalde, Texas to shift the blame away from their own failing policies, but after another devastating weekend of violence centered predominately in progressive-run cities, one police dispatcher demanded, “This nonsense has to stop.”

Keith Thornton Jr. is a dispatcher for the Chicago Police Department and, with reports from Memorial Day weekend that at least 38 people were killed nationwide, he joined “Fox & Friends First” to express his outrage to co-host Todd Piro. Speaking for himself, not as a representative of his position or title, Thornton called out the “super, ultra-liberal, far-to-the-leftist politicians” for destroying the city as the devastation leeches out toward the suburbs and beyond.

“This nonsense has to stop. Until we get effective leaders within these positions to revitalize these distressed neighborhoods and be honest, be real,” he said of the equal opportunity violence plaguing all demographics, it won’t stop.

“We need someone who’s going to take the position and say, you guys need to cut this out, and if you don’t do it, this is the accountability and this is what we’re going to do to you,” Thornton went on before emphasizing the need to firmly state, “It’s not happening here. It’s not happening.”

The dispatcher recounted his own upbringing being raised in Los Angeles, California before moving to Chicago and explained that parenting is a key factor missing from the culture that is producing so much violence.

“This is just a new generation of youth coming up nowadays without those parents and without those mentors to give them that, so this is what’s taking place,” he said. “But when you don’t have that accountability, it goes back to that, when you don’t have that accountability, and you have a distressed government service and system, city council within these cities, nothing’s going to change.”

“So we are going to keep coming back to these things, and it’s very sad,” Thornton lamented.

‘P*ssed’ off Chicago dispatcher warns CPD is severely understaffed, says Mayor Lightfoot is a selfish liar

The dispatcher has been outspoken in the past, specifically over Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and the management of police that has left officers overworked and understaffed to contend with the violence rampant around the city exacerbated by a lenient justice system as he reiterated on Fox News that police are not the answer.

“We need parents to take accountability for their children, and we need the mayor and everyone else to the chief of police to act and arrest. These individuals need to be arrested. Kim Foxx, the state’s attorney here, she needs to do her job and keep these individuals within jail and into prison if that’s what they are supposed to be doing. But that’s not taking place here,” he explained as he railed against Lightfoot’s decision to move a citywide curfew up an hour as a solution.

Piro drove the point home about how violent the cities have become when he asked, in light of possible summer vacation plans for families, if Thornton would consider visiting any of these metroplexes given the current rates of violence.

“You know, I would love to,” he said, “but right now it’s no.”
