ABC destroys Dem narrative that Trump had a senior moment during PA rally: ‘Seemed almost intimate’

Even corporate media appeared tired of peddling leftist talking points after an attempt to sell former President Donald Trump as “confused” was revealed as an “almost intimate” town hall moment.

Adding to a sense of desperation from Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign, a concerted effort was launched to frame the GOP leader as a victim of cognitive decline akin to her own boss, President Joe Biden.

However, the bellyflopped sales pitch on medical records and an army of influencers getting the hashtag “#TrumpIsNotWell” to trend on social media didn’t stop ABC News from countering a narrative that the onetime commander-in-chief had somehow suffered a senior moment during a town hall at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center and Fairgrounds in Oaks, Pennsylvania.

Moderated by South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R), two medical emergencies seemingly caused by attendees growing overheated found Trump improvising at the end of the event and hosting a music party for supporters.

Reporting from Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, ABC News senior national correspondent Terry Moran said, “Well, in certain corners of social media people had a field day with that, and I guess on the screens it might have looked quite strange. Inside that hall, however, people were having a good time. What can I tell you? It did not seem out of the ordinary. It seemed almost intimate and, at the end, Trump did something he very rarely does as he came down off the stage and mingled with his supporters,” he explained. “He was signing autographs and shaking hands and the like.”

During the event, the president reacted to the first medical emergency by calling for a doctor and stating, “Look at the quality of care we have. It’s incredible, what do you think?”

When a second incident occurred shortly thereafter, Trump remarked about the doors being kept closed for security reasons before he tried to lighten up the mood, “Would anybody else like to faint? Please raise your hand.”

Jumping at the opportunity to misrepresent what took place, the account Kamala HQ shared an edited series of clips to present the GOP leader as “lost, confused, and frozen on stage as multiple songs play for 30+ minutes and the crowd pours out of the venue early.”

The vice president’s personal account tacked on cattily, “Hope he’s okay.”

Meanwhile, it was evident from both clips online and the entirety of the town hall that crowd enthusiasm had kept the event going while some welcomed the cool air when the doors were opened as the songs began to play.

Trump himself noted on Truth Social, “I had a Town Hall in Pennsylvania last night. It was amazing! The Q and A was almost finished when people when people began fainting from the excitement and heat. We started playing music while we waited, and just kept it going. So different, but it ended up being a GREAT EVENING!”
