Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons to ‘ramp up’ raids in sanctuary cities

While Democrats do their best to obstruct President Donald Trump’s efforts to rid the country of illegal aliens, Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons is stepping on the gas.

Lyons spoke with Fox News’s resident border hawk Bill Melugin and revealed that he is looking to “ramp up” immigration enforcement efforts in sanctuary cities that refuse to work with the likes of ICE and other authorities.

Watch:

“How can anyone argue with you when you’re deporting violent gang members, sex offenders, fentanyl traffickers,” Lyons said.

“The more [sanctuary cities] try to double down, or triple down, we’re gonna ramp it up more,” he added, directly addressing the obstinate leaders who reject requests to work with ICE. “We’re gonna make sure we’re doing all we can do to bring our law enforcements to that jurisdiction.”
