Hilaria Baldwin was flogged on social media for her use of a “fake” Spanish accent while trying to deflect reporters who she was seeking to discourage by asking them to leave her children alone.
Mrs. Baldwin has been hunkered down with her volatile left-wing husband Alec in the couple’s swanky Greenwich Village home for days since the news broke that prosecutors have decided to charge him in the 2021 shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on a New Mexico movie set.
Baldwin – who thrilled liberals with his silly SNL portrayal of former President Donald J. Trump – is looking at some time behind bars for involuntary manslaughter and the press has predictably staked-out his pad, resulting in their encounter with Hilaria, who has a tendency to slip into the bogus accent on occasion.
She did it again on Friday, wearing a green sweatshirt with her newborn strapped to her chest as she pleaded for privacy during this very difficult time for her and the family, the Baldwins have seven children.
‘I’m going to tell you what I’m going to say, you’re not going to ask me questions, I’m gonna tell you ok? Baldwin said in her Ricky Ricardo voice. “I want you guys to realize we have seven kids, and you being here to escort them to school and to be there when they come home is not good.”

“So, on a human level, you know that I’m not going to say anything to you. You know that. So please, leave my family in peace and let it play out,” she added.
The 39-year-old who was born Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas and has falsely presented herself as being from Spain despite being a native Bostonian had previously been forced to apologize for the phony accent.
Twitter users pounced on the culturally offensive fakery of what one called “a privileged white girl’s attempt at cultural appropriation.”

Alec Baldwin’s legal troubles have certainly taken a turn for the worse now that he along with Hannah Gutierrez Reed, the on-set weapons handler who loaded the gun that discharged the bullet that ended Hutchins’ life during the filming of “Rust” will be facing felony charges and it isn’t helpful that his wife’s cultural appropriation keeps his name in the headlines.
