Alina Habba says she’d ‘very seriously’ consider serving as Trump’s press secretary

Former Trump lawyer Alina Habba, a fierce loyalist, is reportedly a front-runner to serve as press secretary in the incoming Trump White House.

Habba was asked about that possibility during an appearance Tuesday evening on Fox News’s Hannity and said she would “very seriously” consider the opportunity if it arises.

“I leave it to the president and the three people that are on my board of directors – that’s Luke, Chloe and Parker, my children. Everybody will know in time,” she said,

Host Sean Hannity asked Habba if there have been any discussions about her becoming White House press secretary and she played coy while praising the “amazing Cabinet” Trump and his transition team are assembling.

“They are killing it on all fronts,” she said. “It’s time to have advocacy for ‘America First,’ and whatever that looks like for President Trump and his team, I trust it. It’s a decision for all of them to make, not me.”

Hannity pressed on whether she would serve in the incoming Trump administration in any capacity if asked and Habba replied, “I am very loyal to President Trump. I would think about it very seriously.”

Citing multiple sources, Mediaite reported on Monday that Habba, who is reportedly close to the Trump family, was “expected to be at Mar-a-Lago this week for conversations regarding a potential role.”

“Donald Trump is the premier programmer and producer-in-chief, he casts for the on-air roles,” the source claimed. “Alina is camera-ready and tested on day one. But more importantly, she’s battle-tested after being in the frontlines with POTUS the last four years.”

The possible selection of Alina Habba as press secretary appeared to be a hit in social media… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
