Anna Luna offers EPIC response to all the fuss over MAGA swimsuit

U.S. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has got the left all worked up over some modeling videos she did back in 2016 — to be fair, many on the right may be worked up as well, though not for the same reason.

The firebrand conservative politician is a Trump supporter who is quickly developing a reputation for taking it to her Democratic colleagues on Capitol Hill. She has designed swimwear and women’s shirts, and her portfolio includes plenty of swimsuit modeling, including a 2016 MAGA offering.

In response to a clip that has gone viral, the Republican congresswoman Time Magazine described as “the vanguard of a potentially significant turn in American politics” is taking all the attention in stride, even trying to capitalize on it to push policy proposals.

And there are plenty more where that came from — fortunately for the weak of heart, a very fit Luna prefers one-piece swimsuits.

On a more serious note, Luna responded to female supporters who agree that a woman can be beautiful and intelligent, posting on X: “Thank you to all the confident and smart women out there who have my back. You are so sweet. Loving the comments and messages.”

Luna, 35, is married and has one child — her husband, Andrew Gamberzky, was an Air Force technical sergeant until he quit over the then-mandatory COVID-19 vaccine after his religious exemption request was denied — Luna served in the U.S. Air Force from 2009 to 2014. Her father has Mexican and German ancestry, and her mother has Mexican-American ancestry.

When the story first broke, Luna fessed up on a number of things, including that she has been featured in Sports Illustrated and MAXIM.

“I’m confirming that I have indeed worn swimsuits and you can tell I am biologically a woman,” she posted along with a #MAGA hashtag. Luna added in a follow-up, “I have a confession to make since the TikTok Democrats are onto me: I wear bikinis to the beach and mineral sunscreen.”

She added in a follow-up, “There are better [things] to do with your time than digging up modeling photos of me from almost a decade ago. The left is attempting to make this a thing yet can’t define a woman. Very low IQ behavior. Get over it.”

Speaking of bikinis, there is an image of U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) suddenly floating around, as well. Then again, some would argue it’s an established fact that women on the right are more attractive than women on the left

Luna is proud of her portfolio, as she should be, and took care to call attention to an ad she did for an arms company before plugging a bill she is offering to cap student loan interest:

“Next time you try to circulate my modeling portfolio as a “hit,” may I add the worst hit in history that I was able to fundraise off of, don’t forget this one. Yes, it was for an arms company.”

Here are a couple of other responses from the lawmaker, who is clearly having fun with what she says has proven to be a solid fundraising opportunity:
