Anti-ICE warriors using ‘military-grade surveillance tactics’: report

Left-wing militant networks that have mobilized against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are using “military-grade surveillance tactics” to thwart federal efforts to deport illegal aliens in a highly sophisticated operation that serves the interests of the Democratic Party.

FBI Director Kash Patel recently announced that the agency was investigating the use of Signal chat groups by anti-ICE insurgents in Minneapolis to track federal agents and impede them from carrying out their duties.

A Fox News investigation has also revealed that the intelligence gathering goes far beyond using the encrypted app for communication and that a “shadow network” of anti-ICE “digital Minutemen” is utilizing at least 13 databases to track law enforcement in an operation that was described as “dangerous” by one retired Green Beret.

Fox News Digital senior editor Asra Nomani’s investigation details the degree of organization that the feds are facing with “hundreds of anti-government operatives training agitators to interfere with federal law enforcement” in Minneapolis and other cities that are hotbeds of the anti-ICE resistance.

The investigative report cites one example of Jill Garvey, who is the co-founder of a militant group that calls itself “States at the Core,” who, days after Patel’s announcement, used a webinar on Zoom “to train a new crop of ‘rapid responders’ on a military-grade intelligence gathering method called ‘SALUTE.’ An acronym for Size, Activity, Location, Uniform, Time, Equipment, SALUTE is a mnemonic device that typically instructs soldiers how to systematically track details about enemies.”

In a recent interview, Garvey described the work as “operational surveillance” against federal agents whom she called “mercenaries” and declared, “We are all ICE Watch!” She is just one of the anti-government radicals who embrace Marxist-Leninist ideology and are using sophisticated techniques to wage what can accurately be described as an insurrection against the duly elected United States government.

According to the report, “Garvey is just one of hundreds of anti-government operatives training agitators to interfere with federal law enforcement” and that the “groups are part of a nationwide web of at least 200 anti-ICE organizations that are building a civilian intelligence-gathering and ‘rapid response’ system that trains, mobilizes and activates civilians to act as on-the-ground scouts, using the SALUTE method to collect data on federal authorities they cast as the “enemy,” raising serious national security concerns.”

“Fox News Digital has established that these national operations feed data about the movements of law enforcement and immigration authorities into at least 13 sophisticated databases, storing highly sensitive information, including license plate numbers, timestamps, geolocation data, uniform details, photographs, behavior patterns and, in at least one case, the names, email addresses and phone numbers of federal authorities. The network operates through at least 18 hubs nationwide in largely Democratic states and cities, coordinating traffic, verification and reporting,” Nomani wrote.

The lengthy report provides a sobering look into the left-wing networks that have only become more radicalized since the American people sent President Donald J. Trump back to Washington and are determined to prevent his administration from deporting any of the millions of illegal aliens allowed into the country during the Biden regime.

One online platform mentioned in the report is called “RESIST,” and its developers boast that it “flips the script on surveillance,” using “facial recognition and biometric tracking.”

“Mask or not, they can’t hide anymore,” the platform states, billing itself as “civilian-powered intelligence” that “exposes bad actors” and “empowers direct action, public exposure and psychological disruption,” Fox News reports.

Former Syracuse University assistant teaching professor of photography, Rafael Concepcion, told Fox News Digital about his plans for launching “a score” of new databases to track ICE to be built from a mapping platform called  “DEICER” for “Diversity Equity Inclusion Community Engagement Reporter.”

He said that he wants a “network of digital minutemen,” referring to the Revolutionary War-era militia, which could be ready at a “minute’s notice” to scout the British invaders.

“This is mind-blowing, ” Eric Schwalm, a retired U.S. Army Green Beret, said, according to Fox News. “We have an entire nation of collectors against our country’s law enforcement. It’s extremely dangerous.”

After reviewing the databases, training, and operations uncovered by the Fox News investigation, Schwalm spoke in ominous terms.

“If Iraqi resistance ran this level of operation against us, we couldn’t have stayed past 2007. They didn’t even need to shoot at us. Protests like this would have created a narrative nightmare,” he said.
