Anti-Israel doctor group cancels planned protest at DC Holocaust Museum after fierce backlash

A pro-Palestine activist group backed down from a scheduled protest of Israel’s war on Hamas that was to take place at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. after word of the disgusting plan was met by a fierce backlash.

On Tuesday, Doctors Against Genocide put out a statement to “address misconceptions” about the action that was scheduled to take place on Thursday, another of the organized tantrums that have been staged to put pressure on President Joe Biden and his administration to intervene in the Jewish nation’s efforts to permanently eliminate the threat from the terrorists who massacred over a thousand Jews in civilian areas during the cowardly sneak attack on October 7.

“Important announcement regarding our action! We made a decision to cancel the event. We will be announcing future events with more detailed communication,” DAG wrote on X.

“As Doctors Against Genocide we wish to address misconceptions surrounding our Holocaust Museum event which has been misrepresented as an [sic] anti-Semetic gathering,” the group said.

“We had recently announced a planned visit to the Holocaust Memorial Museum as a way to educate and engage the medical community. We wanted to learn from the Museum’s initiatives in genocide education and prevention to inform our own efforts as an organization dedicated to preventing war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide around the world,” the statement read.

“It was not our aim to protest inside or outside the museum, nor is it our intent to minimize the important work done by the Holocaust Memorial Museum. We are deeply affected by the horrors of the Holocaust and are moved to prevent similar atrocities,” DAG said despite screenshots of the initial call to action that would appear to contradict its claim that there was no intention to disrupt inside of the museum, a place for somber reflection of one of history’s greatest mass atrocities.

“Please obtain free entry tickets,” the since-deleted announcement specifically stated.

Some might be inclined to suggest that it’s easy to see how there could be “misconceptions” about the canceled protest being an antisemitic event since Doctors Against Genocide recently staged a rally with the virulent Jew-hating Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.)

Social media sleuths didn’t take long to begin to research what has the appearance of an Astroturf operation as the highly organized protests to force a ceasefire before the Hamas terror organization has been fully eradicated by the Israeli military are becoming more aggressive with their tactics.

“Doctor Against Genocide fights genocide through targeted educational resources. We equip healthcare professionals and the public with insights into historical context and healthcare impacts of Genocide. By fostering awareness and empathy, we strive to mobilize a united front against genocide, promoting global solidarity and prevention efforts,” the group states on its website.
